Now, I like my cheesy 8os music. I have purchased lots of CDs to celebrate that wondrous decade that gave us plastic shoes & glow-in-the-dark lipstick.

However--I must draw the line at ABC. I'm currently listening to "The Look of Love." What in the hell were we thinking to make this a hit? I think it was classified as a hit...although it is better than "When Smokey Sings" where they rhyme "sings" with "violins." And no, it doesn't even work with an English accent. It's just awful.

I have to admit, I do kinda like "Poison Arrow" but only because of the line:

"If I were to say to you, 'Can you could keep a secret?', would you know what to do, or where to keep it? "

I don't know why, but that line makes me giggle.
